please don’t laugh at me for this (it’s so pathetic haha), but it was today on the way back from school. i was telling my mom about how we were starting the anatomy and physiology section of our AP Bio class and how we were going to do all these dissections and i was listing off all the animals and then we come to THE CAT. and i expressed how much i was NOT looking forward to it. so we start talking about it etc etc etc and i ask my mom where they get the cats from. and she explained that they get it from the pound. i was like “how do they kill the animals at pounds? an injection, right?” and she was like “no, they gas them” AND I SWEAR I GOT TEARY EYED and i was like “WTF THAT IS SO INHUMANE” and then she started talking about how it was too expensive to give out injections, but they give out injections at the vet. then she told me a little about what happened whenever she had to put jackson down. and she said “you at least get to hold them” then i kinda slumped in my seat and was all “i don’t want my cats to die. i want them to live forever”. AND THEN I STARTED BAWLING AND I BAWLED THE WHOLE WAY HOME AND NOW I’M CRYING AGAIN THANKS A BUNCH ANON.

but no, really. i don’t think people realize how close i am to my babies. :’(
